Minerva Imaging’s vision is to become the leading contract research and contract development organization for targeted radionuclide therapy and imaging, enabling improved treatment regimens for cancer patients. Our focus is on the use of advanced animal models within oncology and cardiovascular diseases and in vivo molecular imaging for translational research and drug development.
We aim to excel in delivering customized cancer radiopharmaceutical research and serve as an extended research team to our collaborators. We have built a global leading R&D platform for targeted radionuclide therapy and Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO) to enable integrated planning and faster execution of promising new radionuclide theragnostic projects in close collaboration with leading researchers, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies.

Our plans for the new Software Engineer
The role will support Minerva Imaging's digital transformation and play a crucial role in our application development, accelerating our laboratory workflows and supporting our scientists with solutions.
As a Software Engineer, you will create a strong relationship to our scientists, understand their needs and develop the right solution for them.
The ideal candidate will have experience with both the life science industry and software development. You have experience within web development, adapting open-source software in a corporate environment and programming e.g. in python and experience with databases. You will be joining a small team and as such you will quickly become a key team player with a wide variety of tasks. Minerva Imaging is a growing company and you will get the opportunity to help shape both your own tasks and the future digital infrastructure of the company.
You will be joining the department of digital solutions and technology consisting of IT and data/image processing professionals.
Tasks:
- Design and development of software to support our in-house research and development organization
- Deployment and support of in-house developed web apps
- Assess current data handling and pro-actively come up with solutions
- Improving the overall data flow within the company
- Support setting up and maintaining data processing and analysis tools
- Ability to cross-collaborate throughout the whole organization within the various disciplines in the company
- Provide technical support and training to the users of our apps
Experience:
- Background in software development, including programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with software development or data analysis within life sciences
- Experience with version control (Git) and containerization technologies (docker)
- Familiar with agile principles and previous experience using tools like azure devops to mange software or data science projects, track progress and improve collaboration
- Previous experience in implementing automated testing and deployment processes is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences or related fields with 2+ years of experience
- Problem-solving and make-it-work attitude
- Good team player and eager to learn
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Thrive in a fast-paced and service-oriented organization
- English is required and Danish is an advantage
